Healthcare these days is complex. Working as a healthcare provider in primary care allows Jennifer to connect with people and work together with them to navigate a path to a healthier life. She enjoys building rapport with her patients and seeing them have ownership and pride in their health. The goal of primary care is to serve the whole patient, caring for their ongoing physical and mental health conditions, managing any acute needs they may have, and keeping them up to date on their preventive health screenings and vaccines. Primary care serves as the patient's medical "hub," allowing them to have one place to express concerns and get answers when things get confusing. Jennifer lives in the Pittsburgh area and loves spending time outdoors. When she is not working she enjoys running, woodworking and rehabing furniture, and spending time with her husband and four kids.
