In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs? The role is the primary care provider is to encompass the entire person as a whole. It’s also a part of multi-disciplinary approach to ensure patient’s holistic needs are met. We often wear different hats at any one time depending on the needs of our patients in order to provide the care the patient needs. What makes you passionate about being a healthcare provider? Being a healthcare provider allows me to provide holistic care to patients. It also provides the opportunity for me to part of their lives in a meaningful way which gives me joy knowing that I am able to make a difference. Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time? In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family. I also enjoy traveling with and without my family to new and exciting places.
