Tell us what makes you passionate about being a healthcare provider. I enjoy providing evidence-based interventions to each of my patients that is individualized to their specific needs. In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs? As a primary care provider, it is our duty to treat the patient as a whole. When we are assessing a patient, this includes acute, chronic, and mental health illnesses. We must act as the patient advocate and ensure proper treatment and education to the patient. Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time? I have worked in healthcare for 10 years with the last 3.5 years as a provider. I live in middle Tennessee with my husband and two children. We enjoying traveling and camping in our spare time.
