Akita is passionate about health care because she really enjoys helping and assisting others. Healthcare allows her to do this by not only providing excellent medical care but also by empowering her patients through education and knowledge. The role of a primary care provider is to provide whole body care. Whole body care allows the primary care provider to provide care in relation to prevention, treatment and education of disease processes of the mind and the body across a life span. Research supports that this form of medicine delivery leads to the best quality of life and overall health outcomes for the patient as a whole. In her free time she enjoys activities such as reading, hydroponics gardening, yoga, meditation and traveling.
