Tell us what makes you passionate about being a healthcare provider. I'm passionate about encouraging patients to live a healthy lifestyle, to improve their mind and body. I enjoy listening to patients intently, to help formulate a plan of care for their acute or chronic condition. It is important for me to establish continuity of care with patients, to develop a trusted source of guidance. In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs? It is important as a provider, to look at the patient as a whole. I strive to address underlying comorbities, such as anxiety and depression. My goal is to put patients at ease, so they feel comfortable talking about these topics. I want to empower the patient, by giving them the tools necessary to increase their quality of life. Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time? In my spare time I enjoy indoor rock climbing, hiking and biking. I also enjoy wildlife photography.
