Tell us what makes you passionate about being a healthcare provider. I get tremendous satisfaction when a patient tells me they feel better. I have helped several patients improve their health, and the overall quality of their lives. It is an honor to have a job that makes a difference in people's lives. In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs? A primary care provider should act as the first line of defense for their patient’s. Primary care providers should help patients navigate the complex and confusing health care system and direct them to the appropriate resources and specialist when needed. Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time? I am a Family Nurse Practitioner helping patients of all ages and demographics. I have worked in both the hospital and clinic setting. I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family.
