I think the most important role of a primary care provider is to be there for their patient in a nonjudgmental and empathetic way and to listen to what they have to say. It's also important that we provide the highest quality care by staying up to date on treatments. I love treating the patient as a whole - both physical and mental. I am a bilingual Cuban American born to a large family of 10 siblings. I majored in psychology and worked in a rural town near Asheville, NC before moving back home to be with family. In my spare time I enjoy gardening, running, wood working and doing creative projects.
