I’m passionate about being a doctor because it allows me to make a meaningful impact on people’s lives—helping them heal, navigate challenges, and live healthier futures. In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs? A primary care provider should serve as a trusted partner and first point of contact for patients, addressing both physical and behavioral health needs in a holistic and compassionate way. They play a critical role in early detection, prevention, and coordination of care, ensuring that mental and emotional well-being are integrated into every aspect of the patient’s health journey. Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time? Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time outdoors—whether hiking, exploring new places, or just taking a walk with my dog. I also value time with family and friends, good food, and staying active through meditation, tennis or strength training.
