Whether it's via education on lifestyle changes, medication management, or both, I feel I succeed when my patients reach their goals and are proactive in their health. In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs? A primary care provider has responsibility to educate patients on healthy choices in many aspects. This could be via diet, exercise, sleep, changes as we age, and many other factors. Behavioral Health can also play a strong role in all of these. Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time? In my spare time, I love being outdoors with my dog and getting in water when I can.
